Behind the Scenes

Here at the Akron Lions Club, we’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 1938, we’ve been supporting the Akron/Newstead area in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts. We continue to serve individuals with vision care, wheel chair ramps and support a variety of charities, youth organizations and service projects in our community.

Over 1.4 million Lions across the globe are stepping up to serve their communities during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. These new challenges have changed the way we live, but our dedication to helping those in need is as strong as it was when we first opened our doors more than 100 years ago.
